What is a Webring?

A Webring binds sites of common interest together forming communities of them.  Webrings are simple and efficient ways to find content on the Internet.  They are one of the fastest and most exciting ways to navigate the World Wide Web today.  Web sites related by interest and a strong and committed sense of community, band together to form their sites into easy-to-travel rings to allow more visitors to reach them quickly and easily.  If you are interested to learn more about webrings, please visit The World of Webrings for more detailed information.

How do you surf a Webring?

Through navigation links found most often at the bottom of member pages, visitors can travel all or any of the sites in a ring.  They can move through a ring in either direction, going to the next or previous site, jump to a random site in the ring, or survey all the sites that make up the ring.  The ring navigation tool can sometimes be found on a 'links' or 'webring' page.

Can I join a Webring?

Not a member?  We encourage all webmasters to participate in ring communities.  If you are a webmaster, we encourage you to link each of your sites into topic related webrings.  If you run a site for an Ontario based christian band, click here to join, or to maintain your site data in the CURIOwebring.
